Cream Cheese Onion Dip
This is the kind of dip that disappears at parties – caramelized onions mixed with cream cheese and sour cream. Takes about an hour but most of that is just waiting for the onions to do their thing.

Ingredients
Ingredients (~8 servings)

yellow onions
1/8″ thick, thinly sliced

Tbsp
olive oil
▢

cream cheese
softened
▢
3/4
cup
sour cream
▢

Tbsp
mayonnaise
▢
1
tsp
Worcestershire sauce
▢
1/4
tsp
salt
▢

Tbsp
fresh parsley
chopped

Potato chips for serving
Instructions
Slice onions to 1/8" thickness.
Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-low heat.
Add onions and stir occasionally for 40-45 minutes until deep brown and soft.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, salt, and Worcestershire sauce.
Beat with hand beaters until smooth with no lumps.
Chop cooled onions into bite-sized pieces.
Stir onions and parsley into cream cheese mixture until combined.
Serve with potato chips.
Notes
Dip keeps refrigerated for 3-4 days and tastes better the next day.
