Homemade Tartar Sauce
Making tartar sauce from scratch takes about 5 minutes and tastes way better than the jarred stuff. Perfect for fish and chips or any fried seafood.

Ingredients
Ingredients (~1 1/2 cups)

mayonnaise

sweet pickle relish
▢
1 1/2
Tbsp
minced onion
▢
1 1/2
Tbsp
fresh dill
minced
▢

Tbsp
lemon juice
▢
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Whisk together mayonnaise, pickle relish, minced onion, fresh dill, and lemon juice in a medium bowl until well combined.
Season with 1/4 tsp salt and a few grinds of black pepper, then taste and adjust.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Sauce keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
