Ingredients (~1 1/4 cups)

  • 4 small bread and butter pickles
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Dice the Pickles

Dice the pickles into small pieces/chunks (approximately 1/4 inch in size), or keep them whole if you prefer some crunch.

If you would like to chop your pickles into very small pieces, chop/mince them; however, I prefer to preserve some texture in the chopped pickles for my recipe.

Combine All Ingredients

Once you have diced or minced your pickles, place all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and stir until evenly combined.

After combining the ingredients, taste the mixture, and if needed, add more salt or pepper.

The combination should result in a creamy sauce with a few pieces of diced/minced pickles and a slight tartness due to the mustard.

This sauce can be used as a topping for Smash Burgers, Big Mac Copycats, or Animal Style Fries, and it will last in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Burger Sauce

This is the classic “special sauce” that makes burgers taste like they came from your favorite burger joint. Takes 5 minutes to mix up and keeps in the fridge for weeks.
