Easy Spinach Dip

This takes about 15 minutes to throw together. The longest part is just squeezing out all the water from the spinach - which you really need to do or the dip gets watery.

Ingredients

~8 servings

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained
  • 2 Tbsp minced chives plus more for garnish
  • Carrot and celery sticks for serving
  • Blue corn tortilla chips or crackers for serving
  • French bread or baguette for serving

Instructions

  • Thoroughly squeeze excess water from thawed spinach using kitchen towel.
  • Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne in large bowl.
  • Stir in Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  • Fold in spinach and chives, mixing until evenly distributed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Garnish with extra chives.
  • Serve with carrot sticks, celery, chips, or bread.

Notes

Dip tastes best after chilling for 1 hour. Keeps in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
