This is a bold, smoky spice blend that works on everything from fish to chicken to vegetables. I make a big batch and keep it in a jar since it stores well and saves time during weeknight cooking.
Combine smoked paprika, onion powder, chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, basil, ground mustard, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper in an airtight container.
Mix or shake well to combine.
Store at room temperature for up to 6 months.
Notes
Use 1-2 tsp per chicken breast or fish fillet. Flavors improve after a few days.
