Homemade Taco Seasoning
Making your own taco seasoning takes 2 minutes and costs about half as much as the store packets. Plus you control the salt and can skip the weird preservatives.

Ingredients
Ingredients (~1/2 cup seasoning mix)

freshly ground black pepper

onion powder

tsp
paprika
▢

garlic powder

crushed red pepper flakes

dried oregano
Instructions
Add chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and oregano to a small bowl.
Whisk until well combined with no streaks of individual spices.
Pour into an airtight glass jar or container.
Label with the date.
Notes
Store in pantry for up to 6 months; best flavor in first 3 months. Use 2-3 Tbsp per pound of ground meat for tacos.
