Tuna Noodles
This is my go-to comfort meal when I want something filling and quick. It’s basically a creamy tuna casserole in pasta form that uses pantry staples you likely already have.

Instructions
Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package directions.
Melt butter in another large pot over medium heat.
Add flour and whisk until smooth, cooking 3-4 minutes without browning.
Slowly whisk in milk, then increase heat to high and whisk constantly until sauce boils.
Remove from heat immediately.
Stir in drained tuna, salt, and black pepper.
Return to low heat and cook 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain cooked pasta and add to sauce with frozen peas.
Cook 5 more minutes, stirring to combine.
Thin with milk if needed and adjust seasonings to taste.
Notes
Start pasta water first so pasta and sauce finish cooking around the same time.
