Ranch Cheez-Its

By Sam Pierce

Ingredients (~12 servings)

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or any neutral oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 2 boxes Cheez-Its

Mix Oil and Seasonings in a Large Bowl

In your largest mixing bowl, whisk together the oil, ranch packet, garlic powder, and dill.

The ranch powder will look clumpy at first – this is normal and will work itself out.

Add Cheez-Its and Let Sit

Pour both boxes of Cheez-Its into the bowl and toss with a large spoon or your hands until everything is coated.

Let them sit for 10 minutes so the oil can soak in and the seasonings distribute evenly.

Bake at 250F for 20 Minutes

Preheat your oven to 250F.

Spread the Cheez-Its out on 2 large baking sheets – don’t overcrowd them or they won’t crisp up properly.

Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through at the 10-minute mark.

They’re done when they feel dry to the touch and have absorbed most of the oil.

Ranch Cheez-Its

These take your regular Cheez-Its and turn them into something you can’t stop eating. The ranch powder clumps at first but distributes evenly once you let them sit.
