Ingredients (~6-8 servings)
- 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian dinner rolls
- 1/2 lb sliced ham
- 6 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Prep the Rolls and Pan
Preheat your oven to 350F and spray a 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
Keep the Hawaiian rolls connected – don’t break them apart. Use a large serrated knife to slice through the entire package horizontally so you have a top half and bottom half.
Place the bottom half in your prepared casserole dish.
Layer the Ham and Cheese
If you want, warm the ham slices in the microwave at 50% power for ~30-45 seconds. This isn’t required but helps everything heat more evenly later.
Layer all the ham over the bottom rolls, then add the Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
Spread the mayonnaise on the cut side of the top roll half, then place it mayo-side down over the cheese layer.
Make the Butter Mixture and Bake
Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Whisk in the Dijon mustard, onion powder, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
Pour this mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders. Cover the dish with foil and let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes so the flavors soak in.
Bake covered for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake another 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
The rolls should feel slightly firm on top and the cheese should be fully melted when you peek between the rolls.
Use a sharp knife to cut between the individual rolls and serve immediately.
